Tracking insurance in-house can be streamlined with the A.L.S. Loan Accounting and Management System. You’ll have all of the insurance company, agent and policy information at the click of a button. You can enter up to 4 policies of varying types to track the complete status of the insurance coverage on your assets. A powerful policy status field lets you track the policy from binder to certificate stage, as well as policies that have been cancelled or are out for revision. A comprehensive Insurance Status Report allows you to follow up on insurance policies that do not meet your coverage requirements (both limits of liability and deductibles), are about to expire, have expired, or are up for renewal for any or all policy statuses.
To keep your insurance information up to date and to ensure compliance with your coverage requirements, you are going to need to know exactly who was contacted and what was said. You’ll want an easy way to remember when you should be making the next step in the process. With our complete Insurance Tracking Module you will be able to do all those things and much, much more.
Insurance tracking personnel will have several tools available to them to make insurance tracking quick and efficient. From the main Insurance Tracking screen, you can see all the pertinent asset, Borrower, and insurance exception information. Insurance information can be updated, notes can be made and reviewed. Reminder “ticklers” can be set and then automatically reported to a specific insurance coordinator when the tickler date has expired.
Within the Insurance Tracking Module, the coordinator can notify other office personnel regarding specific account insurance problems. Internal memos can be written and directed to any network printer. An account can be flagged with a message that will appear on the screen every time that account is accessed within the Loan Accounting and Management System. Anyone that accesses that account will be alerted immediately by the message and will be able to take appropriate action as needed.
